My name is Dianna L. Domek. I live in, Indiana, USA. I have lived in Indiana most of life except about 2 years that I lived in Kentucky, USA. I am enrolled in the Master of Arts in Religion - Pastoral Ministries. I want to be a youth/children minister but if the Lord called me to be a pastor of a church, I would follow that calling. However, I would prefer just to be a youth/children minister, I love working with children and the youth. I want to reach them while they are young. I have an associate in Computers with a Specialty in PC Support Administration. In addition, I have an associate in Accounting and bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1983, I acquired my Cosmetology license. I am also a certified wedding/event planner. I have just recently felt this calling to be a minister. I am currently a housewife and self-employed. I have my own wedding/event planning business. However, I am very active in my church. I assist the pastor and his wife on a regular basis. I am married to a wonderful man, Timothy J Domek. We met online and married 2 weeks after we met in person. We have been married for 10 years. Before that, I was married to another wonderful man, Benjamin F. Carll Jr., for 16 years who died from massive stroke one month to the day after his birthday. He suffered the last 5 years of his life with 5 heart attacks and 11 stents. I have 1 daughter & 1 foster daughter, 8 grandchildren 4 foster grandchildren and 1 foster great-grandchild. My parents, Mr. & Mrs. Pflaumer, and my 2 younger sisters all live in Madison area. I love creating things on the computer. I also love working with plastic canvas. I love watching movies and TV. I also love playing puzzle type games on the computer. I love to work at my church Golden Harvest Community Church and serving the people of my church and my community. We have around 9 to 21 members that attend regularly. I would love to learn how to communicate to people about how wonderful God is and reach those who do not know God and how wonderful, gracious and merciful he really is.
I was baptized at the age of seven. I grew up in a Christian Baptist home and everything went along fine. Until I was sixteen years old, that was when I was molested. This caused me to feel that I was a bad person, so I dated any Tom, Dick or Harry who would have me. This went on for about eight years until I was date raped by one of those men around April 7, 1990. Because I felt so bad about myself and I would let do whatever they wanted to me as long as they did not take my VIRGINITY. He was drunk and this time when I told him NO he did not listen. I blocked the memory out of mind as I was just a slut and I was not a victim again. I did not realize I was raped until two years later. On April 21, 1990, I met my husband on a blind date. However, for the first time in my life, I let Jesus show through Ben, how women are supposed to be treated by men. He treated me with respect, love, and dignity. We were married for 16 years and he died in 2006 from a massive stroke. About 11 months later I met my current husband online and married 2 weeks later. We have been married almost 11 years now. Thanks to Jesus and through the love and support of my husband, friends, and family. I have been working on my past. I am finally realizing that I am special, it was not my fault, and I am not a bad person. My past has caused me to build a closer relationship with my Lord and Savior. Moreover, for the first time in my life, I can stand on my own two feet and say THANK YOU, God, for creating me and stopping me all those times I felt like committing suicide. I also have realized that through the love of Jesus, I can conquer anything. These experiences though they have been terrible, I would not wish them on my worst enemy, and I would not change any of them. They are what makes me, me. This might seem strange but if those things had not happened to me, I would not be the person I am today. In addition, I would have never met my loving deceased husband, Benjamin Franklin Carll Jr. or current loving, God-feared husband Timothy Domek. Due to the incidents that have happened, I have been able to reach out and help others who have experienced similar incidents. These incidents have taught me that if I have faith in God anything is possible, nothing is too difficult that it can’t be overcome if you just hand over to the Lord and let him take care of it.
