  • Tonight I return to ask for more prayer; it's been real bad day, I got up this morning and the growth on my leg started to bleed profusely, and would not stop, just kept pumping blood in a stream. Dawn called the paramedics, and the 'first-responders' arrived within ten minutes and the paramedic ambulance about thirty minutes later. I lost about a pint of blood and I was in such pain I nearly passed out, they put me on gas which helped, and eventually the bleed stopped.
Later we got a house-call from my doctor, who contacted the hospital, who later called us back. They have the results of the biopsy, it seems that I do not have melanoma, but instead I have lymphoma, still cancer but a slightly less dangerous one. so prayers are working brothers and sisters.
I wish we lived closer Mary, we have several wheel-chairs in our garage that no one seems to want here.
    • I continue to pray with you and Dawn. God bless you both. I take a few medications that I think thin my blood. If I get a nick, it's hard to get the bleeding stopped sometimes. I've never had anything so severe. It must have been awful and scary. I thought you'd find it interesting, the shepherds used to carry a plant in a small pouch. It's called shepherds purse. It has little white flowers and small heart shaped leaves. It stops bleeding. I have a picture of it in one of my herb books around here somewhere in the book case. I've wondered if some of the shepherds in the Bible carried it with them.

God's got all of it in hand. Psalm 103 has a lot of healing in it.

1Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
3who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
4who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:1-5 ESV)

God will provide a wheelchair. I appreciate your kind thoughts.

God, I ask You to bless us above all that we can ask or think. Please strengthen us and keep us in Your perfect peace. I ask for healing and understanding. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
  • God, I am missing Gary. I have ordered a wheelchair. The rehab center's staff won't measure Gary for the wheelchair. God, I am asking You to help me hit the mark and order the correct size wheelchair. And, God, please bless the ombudsman, Jim D. He's very helpful. Please bless Terry W. Construction on the ramp starts sometime next week. He's buying supplies, and he has a plan which way the ramp should run. I don't know how, but the liners for the commode came back to us. Someone tossed them on the front porch. Thank You for helping me figure out how to get that huge box in the house last night. The light snow we had helped. It was easy to move the box around. God, I give You the glory. All of this is way bigger than me. I need all Your help. Please help me find an honest person to help pick up around the house. I'm allergic to dust so I need someone who can dust and sweep. I need someone strong and who doesn't mind taking out the trash. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

And, God, please bless CLM. I thank You for revival. Please send new members. I ask that the new members get to know You better through CLM. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
  • God, I thank You for safe travel today. Please protect me and the car. I ask that the snow and sleet lets up. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
  • Dear FATHER in Heaven, please be with those families in Florida who lost family in the massacre also be with all those who were involved or witnessed this tragedy. Also please be with all medical staff, and first responders who were and still all are dealing with this crisis. Also FATHER, please give us some insight and wisdom to help us all change the world and make things like this a thing of the past but no more in the future. This be our prayer in JESUS' High and Holy Name.........AMEN
    • My heart breaks for those families and for the children, who's lives and potential have been cut short, it brings tears to my eyes. I will never understand the gun culture of the US, in living memory we have had just one such incident in living memory. Wikipedia says; "The Dunblane school massacre took place at Dunblane Primary School near Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland, on 13 March 1996, when gunman Thomas Hamilton killed 16 children and one teacher before committing suicide. It remains the deadliest mass shooting in British history." So we are just not used to these shooting incidents in the UK, which the US seems to accept as a matter of everyday life, and no one seems to want to change things, as Australia did some time ago. So I also pray for a change in mind-set on those who seek to maintain the status-quo on the right to bear arms. Lord be in the situation, change hearts and protect the innocent from those evil people who would kill people for no reason, or through warped and damaged minds. Amen?
    • Brother Derek, I do respect your opinion and your absolute right to have one, but we differ on the issue of gun control. I love you dearly my friend and Brother, but forgive me I don't believe this is the place nor the time to debate what has been debated unsuccessfully for a long long time. I mean no disrespect to you, just trying to give respect to the victims. LORD Bless them and keep them. And forever and always I wish that you have all the Blessings you can handle and I believe greatly that the LORD walks beside all of us. May it be always HIS Will Be Done.
    • I'm sorry Terry, I was just expressing how I felt, I genuinely feel like weeping when I hear of these school shootings, and it angers me so much, so I get emotional about it, because I just can't get my head around it.
    • Brother Derek, It is OK, I understand your feelings many agree with you, it wasn't your opinion that upset me it was that I felt that we need to find the appropriate place to debate this issue. And so far as I am concerned, I may not agree with your opinion on the topic, but I will stand up and fight for your right to have it. GOD Bless you Derek, and I truly do respect and admire you and your wisdom. Now, I will leave this group to the prayers. GOD Bless.
    • Amen, I'm praying with you. I don't know if we can make sense of this tragedy.
