    I need to request prayer for 2 people but I do not know ether one's name. The First one is the daughter of a second cousin I haven't seen since childhood. This daughter is mentally challenged and is violent and extremely strong, so in order to keep other residents and staff have known she is monitored closely. Yesterday she lost her balance on the stairs. When the staff found her she was unresponsive. She was taken to hospital where they did a head CT scan shortly after getting to they found a brain bleed. They redid th CT in the wee hours of this morning and found that the bleeding has gotten worse. That at this time is all I know on this except that they are talking about brain surgery that could very easily leave her in a vegetative state the rest of her life.
    The next is a brother-in-law to my sister-in-law. He has been placed on hospice care. Apparently the site where the doctor put in the port or whatever it is called began bleeding and the blood pooled on top of his diaphragm and it coagulated there. He was transferred to an Indianapolis heart hospital and, They were talking about doing surgery to remove the coagulated blood. I have heard nothing else at this time.
    You all know by now how I feel about you who pray with me for family, friends and total strangers I am very thankful that you do try to help total strangers. May GOD Bless you all.

      God I lift both of these individuals to You and ask for healing. Please strengthen and help them. I ask that surgeries go smoothly. And God, please send the best possible medical staff. Please guide them. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

    I need to ask for prayers for a friend that I made here on CLM a couple of years ago. His name is Albert and at present his doctors suspect he has colon cancer. Please pray that his doctors' are mistaken and they find something more benign. I thank you so very much.

    God, I know the Bahamas was hit very hard by the hurricane. Please comfort people who have lost loved ones. I ask for healing for those who were injured. And God, I ask for shelter for those who have lost their homes. I also ask that medical help and supplies can get through. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

      Yes, the pictures from the Bahamas are of devastation beyond belief- much need of prayer, and prayer for the U.S. East Coast, also, where the thing is going to come ashore. Lord, be with and protect all in Dorian's path.

    Tropical storm Dorian is headed toward Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. God, I ask You to protect the people who are in harm's way. Please quiet the winds and rain. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

      I partner with you in praying God calms the wind and seas! If Jesus did it for experienced (and terrified!) fishermen, He can do so for us landlubbers! Lord Jesus, I pray You will dissipate this storm and calm the winds and waves. Protect those who are in the midst of this storm now, and those who are in the pathway. I pray You will calm our minds and hearts and quiet this storm. In Your holy name I pray, Amen!!

    PRAYER FOCUS WEST LESSER SUNDA ISLANDS


    POPULATION 4.5 MILLION

    THE ISLANDS OF LOMBOK AND SUMBAWA

    CHRISTIANS 0.1%

    These islands are staunchly Muslim and the Christian's are mostly from other regions of Indonesia. Please pray for the establishment of a Sunda Church.

    Over 100,000 Balinese live in Lombok and they are more open to the gospel than on their native island. Please pray that many churches would be formed amongst them.

    The Unreached peoples are:

    Sasak 2.75 million situated on Lombok.. believers 200.
    Sumbawa 400,000.. believers 20.
    Bima 650,000.. believers 100.

    Please pray for the first fruits of the gospel in house fellowships, and that these would grow into active witnessing churches.

    There are two small churches amongst the Bima. Please pray for a powerful move of the Spirit and pray for dynamic Christian marriages, as many young people change religion to get married.

    Scriptures are in the process of being translated and radio broadcasts air for 3.5 hours per week. Please pray for deep and lasting fruit from this ministry.

    Turkey’s recent military operations in northern Syria have brought a new wave of devastation to a war-weary people. Masses are displaced, and even more face immense humanitarian need. AGAIN.

    ISIS-like militias – supported by Turkey – are brutally targeting Christians and other minorities.

    Do we even notice anymore? Do we care?

    The immensity of the suffering in this war-torn nation is hard for us to absorb. It's easy to turn it into a far-away, faceless conflict.

    But we can’t.

    Syria matters to God.
    Therefore, Syria should matter to us.

    We cannot lose sight of the people. REAL people. People Jesus loves and died to save.

    Syrians desperately need REAL peace.

    Only God can bring this war to an end. And it is only the Hope of the Gospel that can bring Syrians true, lasting, and eternal peace.

    October 1st is National day in China

    It is a time for celebration, especially this year, as it is the 70th Anniversary of the founding of Modern China

    This year we will be having our first national day of prayer for China

    Jesus said this to his disciples in Mark 14

    37 And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?

    Please let's not sleep,let's pray.. let's pray for China

    Please use the following books to help you pray for China

    Please pray for a few minutes, if you can pray for an hour, then wonderful, but please pray.

    You don't have to use the requests below, they are just a guide, be open to the Holy Spirit

    Prayer Requests

    Pray for a national revival to take hold throughout China, first of all impacting the church, that the church becomes a shining light of the glory of God

    Please pray that each housing complex of which there are over 20 within a mile of us, will have it's own group, led by men

    Please pray for the pastors, that they be filled with power, boldness and strength

    Please pray for the millions trapped in atheism, Buddhism and materialism, that they would be set free by the power of the gospel

    Please pray for the millions of Chinese minority people, please go to this website Joshuaproject and see the great need

    Please pray for the millions of Chinese outside China, that many churches would be planted amongst them

    Please pray for the young people of China, they are taught humanism and atheism from an early age, please pray that they would be liberated from these things and that the light of the gospel would shine amongst them

    Please pray as there is real and active persecution, please pray that the church will stand strong

    Please pray for the men of China, that they would respond in large numbers to the gospel, especially pray for more men in the churches

    These requests are not exhaustive, they are guides, please use the two books above, it is an investment to buy them, you can get them on Amazon

    Please view the news on persecution websites such as Voice of the martrys and Open doors

    For protection of our church services and our house groups
    For the men in our church, small in number, may they continue to grow
    Please pray for the children of church members
    Please pray for many church members dealing with health issues
    Please pray for the co-workers
    Please pray that many new people would come especially young people and young couples
    Pray for those who used to come, but no longer do, to return

    Again these requests are guidelines

    Please pray led by the spirit of God, but please pray

    Thanks for contributing to this day of Prayer, we hope to make this an annual thing, maybe next year, it will be better organised, I'm sure someone can do a better job than me, maybe a group associated with the persecuted church

    ONE HOUR FOR CHINA


    Thanks for praying for China, on October 1 it is National day, This year is the 70th Anniversary of the founding of modern China, it needs much prayer

    We would like to make it a National day of Prayer for China, which I hope will become an annual thing, and so I will sending a special battle battle stations with specific prayer requests, but to have any effect, we need to have people praying. I am believing for 100 churches to join us and for 100 individuals to join us

    What we are asking for is for people and churches to take these prayer requests and to pray for China.

    This could mean, you pray on your own , in a group or as a church family.

    Please would you give up an hour for China on Tuesday 1 October.

    Jesus said to his disciples, will you not pray for one hour, these men were used to fishing all night.

    Three Pastors and their Churches are already holding meetings on that Day, thanks to Pastors Thomas, Anyana and Eleck

    Are you willing to give up one hour for China?

    Please consider this, if you wish to pray for China on a regular basis, then but the books Operation World and Operation China
