HONOR 2

Honor  2:

Romans 12:1:   Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

2 Corinthians 4:10-11:  always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

Proverbs 3:9:  Honor the LORD from your wealth And from the first of all your produce;

Isaiah 60:9:  "Surely the coastlands will wait for Me; And the ships of Tarshish will come first, To bring your sons from afar, Their silver and their gold with them, For the name of the LORD your God, And for the Holy One of Israel because He has glorified you.

2 Corinthians 8:19:  and not only this, but he has also been appointed by the churches to travel with us in this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and to show our readiness,

Proverbs 14:31:  He who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But he who is gracious to the needy honors Him.

Matthew 25:31-40:  “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.   All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;   and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. “Then the King will say to those onHis right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.   For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;   naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’   Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?   And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?   When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’   The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them , you did it to Me.’

James 1:27:  Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Malachi 2:2:  "If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name," says the LORD of hosts, "then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.

Numbers 20:12:  But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you have not believed Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."

Daniel 5:22-31:  Yet you, his son, Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, even though you knew all this,   but you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines have been drinking wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which do not see, hear or understand. But the God in whose hand are your life-breath and all your ways, youhave not glorified.   Then the hand was sent from Him and this inscription was written out. “Now this is the inscription that was written out: ‘MENĒ, MENĒ, TEKĒL, UPHARSIN.’   This is the interpretation of the message: ‘MENĒ’—God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it.   ‘TEKĒL’—you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.   ‘PERĒS’—your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes andPersians.”  Then Belshazzar gave orders, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a necklace of gold around his neck, and issued a proclamation concerning him that he now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom.  That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain. So Darius the Mede received the kingdom at about the age of sixty-two.

Hebrews 2:9:  But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
