It seems as if this study will never run out.  My kind of study!  Here we go now:

Thanksgiving:  Christ set an example of:

At that time Jesus said, "I praise you Father, Lord of heave and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.

John 11:41:  So they removed the stone Then Jess raised His eyes, and said, "Father, thank You that You have heard Me.

Matthew 26:27:  And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you;

John 6:11:  Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated, likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted.

Thanksgiving  Should always accompany prayer:

Philippians 4:6:  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Nehemiah 11:17:  And Mattaniah the son of Zabdi, te son of Asaph, who was the leader in beginning the thanksgiving at prayer, and Bakbukiah, the seond among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shamua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

Colossians 4:2:  Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;

Thanksgiving  should be offered Through Christ:

Colossians 3:17:  Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Romans 1:8:  First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world.

Hebrews 13:15:  Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of the lips that give thanks to His name.

Thanksgiving  Should be accompanied by intercession for others:

2 Timothy 1:3:  I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience the way my forefathers did, as I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day,

2 Timothy 2:1:  First of all then I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men,

Philemon 1:4:  I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers.

Thanksgiving  Should be offered For the goodness and mercy of God:

Psalm 106:1:  Praise te LORD!  Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Psalm 107:1:  Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Psalm 136:1-3:  Give thanks to te LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.  Give thanks to the God of gods, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.  Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Finished for today.  Having a problem with stiffness in my neck today.

God Bless!
