A few days ago my wife and I had occasion to visit Truro Cathedral, here in Cornwall, UK an impressive building built in the mid nineteenth century. It superseded a much older church and there were still some relics of the old church left around the place, two of these exhibits were Alter Clothes (the drapes that fall down at the front of the alter). I was frankly amazed, these cloths were at least 500 years old and the embroidery was beautiful, the love of God than went into these items really glorified God. Below is a view of the Cathedral and below that shots of the two cloths. Look and be amazed.
