"..and the word of the Lord came unto me." [Jeremiah 1:11].  Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet, because he heard a word from the Lord, delivered it, and the world did not receive it.  A man of position, who became a lowly servant for God, who was willing to lay down his life that others might live. "Jeremiah Ministry" is one of being God's messengers, supported by prayer. For we battle not against flesh and blood, but we war against the things of darkness.. that the world may overcome.

The main Biblical literature relating to Jeremiah is The Book of Jeremiah, but there is also Lamentations, The Book of Baruch, and The Letter of Jeremiah. The last two are considered divinely inspired scriptures by The Cathlic Church and the Eastern Orthodox churches, and called Deuterocanonical (2nd canon), but Protestants consider them less inspired and call them Apocrypha. In my own opinion I feel that these are genuine scriptures, even though I am protestant because the evidences seem to favor this in my eyes.

  • What a wonderful verse: "Heal me Lord, and I shall be Healed. Save me Lord, and I will be Saved, for you Lord are my Hope!" (Jeremiah 17:14).

  • Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things."
  • The prophet Jeremiah was evidently a sensitive introvert.....
  • clay bullae from the time of Jeremiah
These clay bullae (seal impressions), discovered by archaeologist Eilat Mazar during her excavations of the City of David, Jerusalem, bear the names of two royal ministers mentioned in the Bible’s story of Jeremiah, prophet of the Old Testament. • No pic. But yes, God's word has been, is, and will be proven 100% true.
    • Welcome to the group David.
  • Jeremiah 33:3 is certainly something to think on..
