"Hello.  My name is Steve and I work for the Lord. My goal for this group is to have people joyfully post Bible verses they like and then we can possibly discuss and study that verse. Each verse posted could be a small study in itself.  I think feedback is important.  Remember iron sharpens Iron.  We all differ but we all love the lord and his word." Feel free to join and share."

  • Psalm 133
  • A good verse to use for encouraging the depressed is Philippians 4:8, where Paul tells us to think about noble and honorable things, things of beauty and purity...
  • A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. -Proverbs 25:11.
  • "The wages of sin is DEATH, but the gift of God through Christ is eternal LIFE" -Romans 6:23.
  • Isaiah 45:2-3.."I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass...….I will give thee the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places....that you may know me...…". This is so noble a scripture. I suspect the riches are not so much financial but spiritual so we can win battles by the Lords help.

  • Psalm 1 (all of it). It sets the tempo for all the psalms that follow and easy to memorize. It speaks of the two ways: The right path with God, or the wrong path ...

  • John 17:3-'This is eternal life:

that they may know You, the only true God,

and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ.'
  • 1 Corinthians 13:1-7NIV If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
