The Circle

Last night I dreamed an amazing dream,

Of our Lord and God supreme,

People came from far and wide,

And assembled on the prairie wide.

Miles away but still in view,

Was the image of Christ, that they all knew,

The people formed in a circle wide,

Assembled as the one true bride.

Every Christian had in sight,

Their Saviour in the image bright,

And saw the image no matter where,

They were in that giant circle there.

Yet every one had an image, that they saw,

Individual to that person, not just all,

Each one saw an image that was theirs,

An image of a Redeemer that's beyond compare

There was no right view, and no wrong,

They all have a Saviour to whom they belong,

The circle linked arms and called out as one,

Praise God in the highest, we belong to God's own Son!

I can picture the images as I read this. The coming of Christ and every eye will see Him, every tongue will confess Him, and we shall behold Him face to face. What a glorious day that will be.

I do not usually write poetry, to be honest most poetry leaves me rather cold. However I just feel that I was given this, line by line as I wrote it down, it was like taking dictation, it sure wasn't from my brain. Afterwards I sat and read it, I could not believe what I had written. So all glory must go to God.

That's how I feel when I write anything, whether it be a poem or a story. It's all God given, God inspired. As a published author, I could not write what I do unless God gives the word. And yes, to God be all the glory.

Amen Jeannie, any money I have made from my writing, my articles, books or anything I have written, the money has always gone to God, His word His money. The Bible says we should not profit from His word, so I cannot take glory or money.
