  • REFLECTION: "... at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" Philippians 2:10,11.

    1. The earlier this compulsory but necessary bowing and confession by all, and without exception, no matter your race, or geographical location, the better for you. The scripture can not be broken!
  • REFLECTION:
I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his children begging bread. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. Psalm 37:25,17.
The psalmist as a king was indeed not feeling forsaken at this time, neither were his children at the time in lack of food-begging bread. But before you rush into conclusion, know this, that he was once an object of rejection, forsaken, that as a Shepherd boy he was not counted by his own father among his brothers as to who would be crowned king to replace Saul. He was also a destitute of daily food, surrounded by fellow destitutes. He was on the run to save his life from the power that be-Saul the king at a time for so long a time.
So know this that your position and/or state of being is not a determinant to what you will become to His glory.
But that righteousness will exalt you at the appointed time.
Only hold on to Christ, the source of our righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
    Remain blessed.

  • Hello, my Brother in Christ from (I believe) Nigeria, Welcome to Christians Like Me, a web based community of committed Christians who come here to share their faith in Jesus Christ, support each other emotionally, Learn from each other, and have some fun! May I have you first review the top of the main Home page, where you will find a Newcomers Guide, which will help with navigating this large site. Next to that are some suggestions for getting involved here. Below that are some guidelines for using the site, and some simple rules to help us all get along here. Last, but not least, is a Paypal link where if you want to support the site, you can voluntarily and occasionally donate some money for it's server costs. Aside from these donations, the costs are completely covered by a very giving and generous webmaster, Cary Byrd. Lets help him out, if we can, here. I join all the other members here in praying you fit in well, and find a home here with all of us! And, remember, if you have a question or need anything, I'm here to help. Just send me a message! My Co-Administrator is Dr Derek Blake who's also always willing to help.
