Exodus 15:1-19:   Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and said, I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.  “The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him. “The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name. “Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; And the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea. “The deeps cover them; They went down into the depths like a stone. “Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power, Your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.  “And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You;
You send forth Your burning anger, and it consumes them as chaff.  “At the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, The flowing waters stood up like a heap;
The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea. “The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be gratified against them; I will draw out my sword, my hand will destroy them.’  “You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.  “Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?  “You stretched out Your right hand, The earth swallowed them.  “In Your lovingkindness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.  “The peoples have heard, they tremble; Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.   “Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed; The leaders of Moab, trembling grips them; All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.  “Terror and dread fall upon them; By the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone;
Until Your people pass over, O Lord, Until the people pass over whom You have purchased.  “You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, The place, O Lord, which You have made for Your dwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established “The Lord shall reign forever and ever.”
   For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea on them, but the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea.

Praise>>Of Hanna

1 Samuel 2:  1-10:   Then Hannah prayed and said,  “My heart exults in the Lord;  My horn is exalted in the Lord,
My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.  “There is no one holy like the Lord, Indeed, there is no one besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God. “Boast no more so very proudly, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth;  For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And with Him actions are weighed. “Those who were full hire themselves out for bread,  But those who were hungry cease to hunger. Even the barren gives birth to seven, But she who has many children languishes.  “The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol and raises up. “The Lord makes poor and rich; He brings low, He also exalts.  “He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the ash heap To make them sit with nobles, And inherit a seat of honor;
For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He set the world on them.  “He keeps the feet of His godly ones, But the wicked ones are silenced in darkness;  For not by might shall a man prevail.  “Those who contend with the Lord will be shattered; Against them He will thunder in the heavens,
The Lord will judge the ends of the earth; And He will give strength to His king, And will exalt the horn of His anointed.”

Death In Family

At 3 P.M. yesterday, Central Time,  He took hgis last breath.  Over the past 3 months, he had fought a battle.  He developed an infection, that required surgery.   Not just once, but 5 times in a 4 week period.

The infection persisted, and went in to his blood.  He was also diagnosed, with Alzheimer Disease, a scant three weeks ago.  While he was in the nursing home, he kept telling his wife Kathy, that he wanted to go home.  So, at the time of his diagnosis of Alzheimer,  Kathy set to work, on getting him home.

She got him  set up with home health care, got the Dr.'s permission, and took him home.  Still, though, he kept saying, I want to go home.

He went home.  He was 77 years, 1 month, and 28 days old.  His name is Leon.

Good Bye Big Brother.  I love you and miss you already.

I will only be in and out for the rest of the week.

The Reason Why

I know I have many  readers on here.

I'm sure you may have  noticed that I'm  not on much, and I thought I should explain why.

I'm having problems with my left eye.  Years ago, about 20, I had  cateract surgery on it.  10 years ago, I had surgery on it, to remove scar tissue.  At the beginning of the year, I started experiencing vision problems, but because of emergency housing repair, I was unable to go to the Dr. (needed to pay off the credit card first), until last month.

And......my problem was worse than I thought.  Scar tissue has built up again, not only that, but, a film  is covering the lens.  Due to almost no vision in my left eye, has put a strain on my right eye.  So, I'm seldom on line, more like in and out.  More out than in, at that.

I will be going to my eye surgeon on the 14th.  And hopefully, an appointment for surgery will be set up at that time.

In the meantime, to save eye strain on my right eye, I will continue to be in and out, until the problem is fixed for good.

May God Bless each and everyone  on here  and keep you, and yours, in His loving care.

Saints should>>Be endued with the spirit of>>Praise

Isaiah 61:3:  To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Praise>>Called>>Garment of praise

Isaiah 61:3:  To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Praise>>Called the>>Voice of melody

Isaiah 51:3:  Indeed, the LORD will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places And her wilderness He will make like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.

Praise>>Encouraged>>Four-fold reason for

1 Peter 2:9:  But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Praise>>Of David>>On bringing the ark of the covenant to Zion

1 Chronicles 16:8-36:  Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;  Make known His deeds among the peoples.  Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.  Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.  Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.  Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,   O seed of Israel His servant,
Sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!  He is the Lord our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.  Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham,
And His oath to Isaac.   He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, As the portion of your inheritance.”  When they were only a few in number,
Very few, and strangers in it, And they wandered about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people, He permitted no man to oppress them,
And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,“Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”
Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.  Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.  For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the Lord made the heavens.  Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and joy are in His place.
Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.  Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him;
Worship the Lord in holy array.  Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.  Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
And let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.”   Let the sea roar, and all it contains;
Let the field exult, and all that is in it.  Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the Lord;
For He is coming to judge the earth.  O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.  Then say, “Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise.”  Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting.  Then all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord.
