Tell Us About Yourself
I am a Christian author living in Ontario, California. My first book, The Prodigal Diaries, was my autobiography (published 2017), and it is full of (true) miracles. My next book, Jeané Rose, the Face of Courage, is set to be released on the Fall of 2018. It is a fictional story, but inspired by true events, and one young lady who read the manuscript described it as "a whole box of Kleenex good." It is under consideration for converting it into a motion picture. I am a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, and have been privileged to lead many to Jesus over the years. I believe in miracles.
When I began seeking the Lord long ago I began reading the New Testament, and it gave me a look into what true faith in Jesus was all about. I saw so many who were "playing church," and I found little resemblance in modern "Christianity" and the early Biblical church because those in the early church "lived it." All too many of today's so-called Christians try to live with one foot in the world, and I decided that was not for me. When I heard a former heroin addict, and ex-con named Larry Reed, who'd spent 16 years in San Quentin Prison, get up and speak about Jesus, I saw this street-tough man who had been so completely and totally turned into a new creation in Jesus, I decided "that's for me." Larry had tattoos, and looked tough, but when you were near him he just poured out the love of Jesus. Larry prayed for me one night, and the spirit of God came over me in wave after wave -- I was set free! Since that time I have been privileged to lead many to Jesus. I have seen him set heroin addicts free, and they had no withdrawals. I led one ex-con and heroin addict to the Lord one night and he was instantly healed of hemorrhaging from his heroin habit. He had been a cell-mate with the infamous murderer Charles Manson.
