Tell Us About Yourself
Hi I'm a Soldier in the Salvation Army where I teach the Bible each week to a small group. I'm disabled and use a wheelchair but I am always out and about if I am not too tired it's about balance really. I love the Lord with all my heart and I am a retired Minister although you never really retire in the Lord. I do what I can to help people grow in their faith and spread the gospel. I love people and making new friends. I never married so I live in sheltered housing with my Cockatiel Charlie who is great company. I have travelled a lot especially to America where I have ministered from time to time. But unable to travel now due to my health. I'm looking forward to meeting you all. God bless you, Sandy:-)
I came to know the Lord during a street witness in my home town of Swindon in April 1977. I went to Bible college in Brisbane Australia at the COC school of Ministries when I was 23 and I have have been helping out in various churches. Then I was ordained as a Minister with an international Ministry. Until my health caused me to step down. But I started going to the Salvation Army and became a Senior Soldier last summer. I love the people there and the encouraged me to stay active in the Lord.
