Whilst I was responding to Steve's lovely flower shot I remembered a picture that I took of the tiniest flower. This little blue flower, I thing we call them 'Bird's Eyes', is just about two to three millimeters across (less than an eighth of an inch) across. I used a super-macro with an x4 close-up filter to take the shot on a mini-tripod, almost a microscope lens. Those specks on the petals are actually grains of pollen. These tiny creations always take my breath away and do NOT come about by accident.
