Before the Bible.

Do you ever consider where we would be without the bible as the Word of God to inspire, guide and fill us? For most it cannot be put away from their daily walk and is a constant reminder to us as to why we oppose the world and its ways. The bible is more than just the recording of history and what was is traditionally known as the Old and New Testament. God has said if anyone alters the words in this book is automatically guaranteed the wrath of God - Deut. 4:2; Rev. 22:18-19.

Alas! And Did My Savior Bleed
(At the Cross)

1) English
Alas! And Did My Savior Bleed

1. Alas! and did my Savior bleed?
  And did my Sov’reign die,
Would He devote that sacred head
  For such a worm as I?
2.  Was it for sins that I had done
  He groaned upon the tree?
Amazing pity! grace unknown!
  And love beyond degree!
3. Well might the sun in darkness hide,
  And shut his glories in,
When the incarnate Maker died
  For man, His creature’s sin.
4. Thus might I hide my blushing face
  While His dear cross appears
Dissolve my heart in thankfulness,
  And melt mine eyes to tears.
5. But drops of grief can ne’er repay
  The debt of love I owe;
Here Lord, I give myself away:
  ’Tis all that I can do.

2) Spanish

1. Herido, triste, a Jesús
Mostréle mi dolor;
Perdido, errante, vi su luz,
Bendíjome en su amor.
2. Sobre una cruz mi buen Jesús
Su sangre derramó
Por este pobre pecador,
A quien así salvó.
3. Venció a la muerte con poder
Y el Padre le exaltó
Confiar en él es mi placer.
Morir no temo yo.
4. Aunque él se fue conmigo está
El gran Consolador;
Por él entrada tengo ya
Al reino del Señor.
5. Vivir en Cristo me da paz;
Con él habitaré
Ya suyo soy, y de hoy en más
A nadie temeré.

1. The Great Commission
(Mark 16:15-18)

“Mark 16
15 And He said to them,
“Go into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved;
but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
1.1 The Parable of the Great Supper
 (Luke 14:15-24)

“Luke 14:23 Then the master said to the servant,
‘Go out into the highways and hedges,
and compel them to come in,
that my house may be filled.”

1.3 Maintain Your Life with God
(Jude 1:20-23)

Jesus Christ Saves

The Lifeguard and Fireman of God

Save Others by Snatching them out of the Fire

“Jude 1
20 But you, beloved,
building yourselves up
on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 keep yourselves
in the love of God,
looking for the mercy
of our Lord Jesus Christ
unto eternal life.
22 And on some have compassion,
making a distinction;
23 but others save with fear,
pulling them out of the fire,
hating even the garment
defiled by the flesh.”

Rescue the Perishing
1. Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

2. Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.

3. Down in the human heart,
crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

4. Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

02. He Saved Us
Titus 3:3-8

He Lifted Me

1. In lovingkindness Jesus came
My soul in mercy to reclaim,
And from the depths of sin and shame
Through grace He lifted me.
From sinking sand He lifted me,
With tender hand He lifted me,
From shades of night to plains of light,
O praise His name, He lifted me!
2. He called me long before I heard,
Before my sinful heart was stirred,
But when I took Him at His word,
Forgiv’n, He lifted me.
3. His brow was pierced with many a thorn,
His hands by cruel nails were torn,
When from my guilt and grief, forlorn,
In love He lifted me.
4. Now on a higher plane I dwell,
And with my soul I know ’tis well;
Yet how or why I cannot tell
He should have lifted me.

Com sua mão, Jesus me ergueu.
Em compaixão, Jesus me ergueu.
Por esse amor do Redentor
eu cantarei: "Jesus me ergueu."

2. Castigo e dor sofreu Jesus
em meu lugar, na rude cruz.
P’ra dar-me paz, perdão e luz,
Jesus, então, me ergueu.

Hebrews 4
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’”
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

a Resting Place

My Faith Has Found a Resting Place
1) English
1. My faith has found a resting place,
Not in device or creed;
I trust the ever living One,
His wounds for me shall plead.
I need no other argument,
I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.
2. Enough for me that Jesus saves,
This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him,
He’ll never cast me out.
3. My heart is leaning on the Word,
The living Word of God,
Salvation by my Savior’s Name,
Salvation through His blood.
4. My great Physician heals the sick,
The lost He came to save;
For me His precious blood He shed,
For me His life He gave.

p’ra minha salvação.
2.  Ciência não me valerá,
nem falso e vão saber.
Me basta enquanto vivo aqui
Jesus e Seu poder.

Jesus me libertou.
A Ele fui eu, pecador;

Letter to the Faithful - Stand in love !

How will you fight to win but in love? Know not that man has been blinded by this world’s principalities and out of fear are many acting in defence. For the world has taught them to fear for the lack of the things that occupies the thoughts of men and the world. Many of the Faith believe these days are more complicated to those of our Lord Jesus and therefore by and in love has been binded. This is a lie of religion and of those who having not shut the doors of compromise and empathy.

of Faith.

Use it or lose it! Faith in simple terms is a muscle and requires constant exercise for it to be effective in carrying and delivering heavier loads of manifestations. As an example, it is easy enough to believe to receive five dollars but this belief increasingly becomes a challenge when believing for amounts beyond a practical reach such as five million dollars.

Letter to the Faithful - let us pray !

The enemy will not be satisfied regardless of how much is done in the name of peace and goodwill for all men. For the world is not able to have balance, fairness, and justice for all. Remember, satan the prince of the air, goal is to kill, steal and destroy.

Feature Blog : Danger ! Danger !

How many times do we know of a fellow brother or sister in Christ that “backslide” into their old ways? Is this normal for men and women of Christ; and if we accept that then why is Jesus, the “man-God” innocent of such charges. Is it righteous for us to cling to our humanity even though we have been raised above our sin into the Salvation of God?

Letter to the Faithful - Be Aware !

We march with unity and display in full regality Christ wherever we go. Standing for Truth and Righteousness with compassion; and not by weakness for those outside our parade. We display the armor of God in its Glory that outshines any of the enemy's distractions, deceptions, and the fog that purvey this world.

The world stage (briefly stated)

We live in a fallen world full of sin and strife. All people, despite differences, seek happiness, but never seem to reach a golden finish line. Admit it, we feel like the fabled Sisyphus, condemned to endlessly pushing a round rock up a hill only to watch it roll down again and again. We feel stuck in an endless cycle and maybe as we push that rock the path might get a little smoother sometimes. We wonder if this is all there is for us. The scene is bleak…

The only correct answer is found in JESUS CHRIST, who said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life…” (John 14:6). As believers we are also the priesthood and it is our duty to go into all the world and bring every creature to the Cross.

of Salvation.

We can think of Salvation as someone who having been in prison for most of their lives is rescued and goes through years of emotional, and mental stresses, having trust issues, déjà vu and confidence challenges not only in themselves but in the very ones who rescued them. It's that picture of a lion that was held in their cage for most of their life and after the cage is removed; the lion never ventures beyond the previous cage boundaries. The spirit of the person rescued limits their level of Salvation.

Letter to the Faithful - Prepare for the Battle !

Don’t be found asleep as the bridesmaids were, when all of sudden they being unprepared were left in the darkness pleading and crying as the door shut on them. The enemy will come through and from the shadows, waiting to upstage any facade given to keep your gaze. Then as a flash flood, with horrifying threats; many will be washed away unable to hold ground, grasping at anything to stay afloat to no effect. Be prepared and watch for the battle.

Hebrews 2:10 Part One Key Verse

Key Verse: Hebrews 2:10

Context: Hebrews 2:5-18

Hebrews 2:10 (KJV)
{Heb 10} For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For it became Him[1]

It was suitable to the Divine wisdom in the following ways:

-the requisitions of justices

-the economy of grace

That God should offer Jesus as a sacrifice for the purpose of bringing many sons and daughters to glory.[2] Notice the translation of this verse found in International Standard Version:

“In bringing many children to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering.

Perfect through sufferings

Without suffering, Jesus could not have died, and without dying He could not have made atonement[3] for sin. The sacrifice must be completed. Then He would have qualified to be the Captain or Author (Heb. 5:9) of the salvation of men. He would lead those who would walk by faith. They would be led into eternal glory. It was the will and nature of God to bring men to eternal glory. This would happen through the suffering and death of the Messiah. The salvation of humanity would not be possible without the passion and death of Jesus Christ.

[1] Suitable or proper, fit or right.

[2] Adam Clarke Commentary.

[3] This word is used in the New Testament once. Romans 5:11. The Christian’s great duty is to rejoice. Its cause is reconciliation with God. The means by which it is obtained is through Jesus Christ. This points through the death of Jesus Christ, and faith in His death.

It is found more frequently in the Old Testament. It means at-one-ment. The state of being at one or being reconciled. Atonement is reconciliation. It is the effect which flows from the death of Christ. It also denotes the reconciliation itself. When it is used in this manner, it means satisfaction. It is making satisfaction for offenses. Exodus 32:30; Lev. 4:26, 5:16, Num. 6:11

Thousands Turn from Islam to Embrace Christianity

Thousands Turn from Islam to Embrace Christianity

Thousands Turn from Islam to Embrace Christianity

As the Islamic State tries to overrun Syria and Iraq, thousands are reportedly turning away from the extremist values and finding Jesus.
"I was a devote Muslim and often preached, but there was something missing. There was something empty about Allah and the Quran. Jesus appeared to me in a dream and open my eyes... what has missing was His love and peace," said Iraqi Barazan Azeezi to The Christian Post.
Azeezi said he started to read the bible.
"I used to be a violent person internally and I was always afraid of Allah. I kept following instructions to satisfy him; however, as I read the Bible I began to love the true God and see His truth," he said.
The community typically marks Muslims who convert to Christianity as outsiders; others are killed for their faith.
"In the beginning, my family thought I was joking and claimed that I was going mad. After months of debates, they started to threaten to kill me... It was God's grace that helped me overcome the fear,” Azeezi said.
Reportedly, some Islamic State fighters are also telling stories of meeting a man who healed them. They then come to accept Jesus.
"A decade ago, we would all hear when even one Muslim came to Christ in Lebanon or Syria. Now there are so many we cannot keep count," a humanitarian worker told The Christian Post.

Between Heaven & Earth

   Image result for crows and wheat van gogh

As in the Post Impressionist painting above, sometimes there seems little distance between the Earth and the Heavens above, and God is everywhere, however, if one wishes to partake in paradise and experience heavenly joy there is but one bridge or ladder to the heavenly joy. The one who provides this ladder or way is Yeshua Christ.   He is the God-Man and Savior.  Only his sacrifice can wash away your sins.  Yeshua said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the Life.."
